Shawn serves as Sound Realty's CEO and Managing Broker. As an original partner, he oversees the Real Estate Sales and Management divisions of Sound Realty. With 30+ years as a Real Estate Professional and Banker, Shawn brings a wealth of knowledge in real estate sales, management, and the client experience. As the former Asset Manager for Tennessee Housing Development Authority (THDA), he became an expert in Multifamily Affordable Housing and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Through years in the Financial Industry, Shawn has cultivated strong relationships with lending institutions that help Sound Realty's clients create borrowing strategies for development or rehabilitation.

Drew Lekowski
Drew is a commercial real estate broker with MRG Realty Partners, based in Nashville, Tennessee, specializing in multifamily investment sales. With a strong focus on apartment properties, Drew works closely with investors, owners, and developers throughout Nashville and the Southeast to help clients identify opportunities, maximize value, and successfully navigate the buying and selling process. In partnership with Sound Realty TN, Drew brings his brokerage expertise to the management side — collaborating closely to serve property owners across the full investment lifecycle. Known for his hands-on approach and strong market relationships, Drew takes the time to understand each client's goals and develops strategies tailored to their individual investment objectives.

Talia Barras
Talia is a Nashville-based multifamily real estate broker with MRG Realty Partners, working across investment sales and property management. In partnership with Sound Realty TN, she works closely with property owners and investors to understand their goals, identify opportunities, and help them maximize the performance and long-term value of their investments. Before entering commercial real estate, Talia spent a year in high-volume sales at Oracle, where she developed a strong foundation in prospecting, relationship building, and business development. She earned her business degree from the University of Georgia. Together with Drew, Talia brings her sales background and growing commercial real estate expertise to every client relationship — serving as a trusted resource throughout the lifecycle of every investment.
Affordable Property Management Division Manager
Elena Calvert
Elena Calvert manages our affordable property management division and is responsible for its development and success. Prior to Sound Realty, she served as a Property Manager for a 55 and older HUD property, which allowed her to broaden her knowledge and depth in federal programs, as well as build strong relationships within the affordable housing industry, involving the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, Project Based Section 8 program, and Rural Development programs. Elena's 13 years of experience bring an extensive degree of knowledge in construction, compliance, and asset management functions to the affordable housing industry. These designations and Elena's overall experience have made her a subject matter expert in the affordable housing industry, making her a resource for complex compliance matters. Elena holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Miller Motte University.

Terry Malone
Terry manages Sound Realty's affordable property management division and is responsible for its development and success. Prior to founding Sound Realty, she served in several roles at Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA), broadening her knowledge in federal programs and building strong relationships within the affordable housing industry — including the LIHTC program, Project Based Section 8, and Rural Development programs. Terry's 19 years at THDA bring extensive experience in construction, compliance, and asset management, earning her designations including HCCP, C4P, COS, and MORS. She holds a BBA and MS in Management from Austin Peay State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration — Executive Leadership from Tennessee State University.
